For protection against the risk of arc flash, in addition to all the fabric solutions we offer according to the two current regulations, in Marina Textil we have also carried out electric arc tests based on the combination of two protective fabrics.

These tests, combining different fabrics, have also been carried out according to the European regulations (IEC 61482-1-2 – Box test) and the regulations, so far only American, of open arc (ASTM F1959 / F – open arc) which is equivalent to the current European standard IEC 61482-1-1.

These fabric combinations for arc flash stand out for their results either in the tests according to European norm, or according to American norm, and in some cases in both regulations.

The purpose of these combinations, in addition to their use as Personal Protective Equipment, is to offer warmth and / or comfort. This is why Marina Textil offers different combinations of fabric for jacket and shirt, or for jacket and knitwear, as well as combinations with membrane, thermal barriers, etc.
