EN ISO 17493
HEAT RESISTANCE 180 ºC / 260 ºC
The EN ISO 17493 test method assesses a fabric’s resistance to heat when exposed to a hot air circulating oven. The purpose of the method is evaluating physical changes in any material at a specific exposure temperature. Materials are evaluated with regard to defined visible changes, including the measurement of contraction.
